Meet The Founder
Hi! I am Jessica, a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) survivor and founder of the TBI Recovery Institute.
I am a certified professional life coach, yoga instructor, and reiki practitioner. I firmly believe that Concussion and TBI survivors do not have to settle for the "new normal" and that every person with a TBI experience has the power to pursue and achieve their lifelong dreams. I enjoy helping other survivors get unstuck and find ways to move forward while continuing to rest and care for themselves. I am in the process of putting together some great programs. Living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can create a sense of chaos and unpredictability that may hinder our ability to think creatively and prevent us from exploring new ideas or embracing life's surprises. In this blog post, I share some valuable insights I gained from a talented fiction writer on how she overcomes writer's block caused by chaos, and I apply her advice to help us break free from survival mode and foster more creativity in writing the next chapter of our lives.
